Department Introduction

The major of sport education is to cultivate global sport leaders with the expertise and characters required by the 21st century and our current society, and focuses on training creative and professional sport educators who can play an active role in a globalized and information-oriented era. The curriculum of the sport education consists of a variety of courses to provide knowledge and experience required to become leaders in national and international sport organizations as well as physical education educators for secondary school students, preschoolers, professional athletes, people with disabilities, and seniors. Through a variety of activity classes, internship programs, and systemized and specialized theoretical education, we will cultivate competent sports leaders who have knowledge and practical skills harmoniously.
