Education of Kookmin University.
Since its inception, College of Physical Education at Kookmin University has aimed at the best education in the field of sport science and physical education which befits, in particular, the age of globalization and the age of information.
College of PE at Kookmin strives to :
- Take the responsibilities of higher education, including research, teaching, and service, assisted by the top faculty and facilities.
- Meet the challenge of changing learning environments within and outside the nation today.
- Accommodate the diverse needs of the students.
College of Physical Education at Kookmin University offers three majors: Sport Education, Sport Industry & Leisure, and Sport, Health & Rehabilitation. In addition to the PE graduate program, Kookmin University takes pride in the Graduate School of Sports Industry—the first of its kind in South Korea. The GSSI offers graduate degrees in four majors: Sport Management, Sport Counselling & Exercise Psychology Therapy, Exercise Prescription & Health Management, and Soccer Industry.
Besides, three graduate programs and affiliated institutions, such as the Sport Science Lab and the Wellness Center, provide an excellent learning and researching environment for the PE majors with different goals and interests. We await those who will dedicate themselves to the better future of the field of physical education in Korea.
